As Torbay is largely a tourist area and particularly popular across the Summer months, SWISCo are looking for staff to support with the cleanliness of the Bay. The role will be primarily manual work, navigating a barrow whilst litter-picking and changing litter bins. You will do a vast amount of walking whilst covering the allocated area as well as physical duties such as lifting numerous, full bin bags into larger containers.

What You'll Be Doing:Working with a friendly team of up to 5, guided by our Grounds Maintenance Team Manager and Team Leaders.Mowing, strimming, leaf blowing, and hedge cutting with handheld tools.

Key Responsibilities: Operate the sweeper lorry to clean streets, roads, and public spaces. Ensure the vehicle is maintained to a high standard, reporting any defects.

We are looking for HGV Drivers for immediate starts with the local Waste & Recycling Centre, SWISCo! We have a long-term requirement here, so if you are looking for your next career - please reach out to us! You will be part of a team supporting on the sorting and collecting of recycling in and around the Torbay area. As a driver, you will be responsible for the vehicle itself and its condition as well as supporting your team of loaders to complete the job in hand efficiently.

About the Role As part of the Parks Team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, attractive, and enjoyable for the community. Working as part of a team of up to five, you'll be guided daily by a Team Leader and report to the Grounds Maintenance Team Manager.
