Yard / Site Operative (SWISCo)

BIG ANT Group are working in partnership with SWISCo to support their Temporary staffing requirements in the Waste Transfer Station department.

This will be a varied role to support with both manual and customer service duties on waste disposal. This may involve site clearances / sorting materials / serving trade customers from the general public. You will require good communication skills and be vigilant at all times. 

Health & Safety is of significance in this area of work as there are various vehicles and plant machinery in operation across all hours of the day. Therefore, keeping the site clear of any materials and hazards is an essential part of the operation. You will also be required to ensure customers are using the site safely and within company guidelines.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday and from 08:00-16:00, with the earlier finish of 15:30 on a Friday; equating to 37-hours a week. Additional hours can be available at the weekend for overtime to support in different site duties.
This is currently a temporary position that is immediately available and may lead to future opportunities within SWISCo.
