Big Ant Recruitment are working with one of our valued clients to find them a hands-on, proactive Production Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced team for a temporary assignment starting mid-August until Christmas.

If you're someone who loves to keep things moving - quite literally - and has a head for stock control, Excel spreadsheets, and keeping productivity high, then this could be the perfect fit.

Contract Details:

  • Temporary role: Mid-August to Christmas
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30
  • Overtime options available

Job requirements

  • ▪ Previous experience in a production or warehouse supervisory role
  • ▪ Confident using Excel, especially formulas
  • ▪ Physically fit – there will be some stock handling involved
  • ▪ Strong organisational and communication skills
  • ▪ Eye for detail and a proactive attitude
  • ▪ Able to hit the ground running and muck in where needed

Job responsibilities

  • ▪ Overseeing the production line to make sure everything runs like clockwork
  • ▪ Leading by example and supporting the production and warehouse teams
  • ▪ Booking high volumes of stock in and out – raw materials and finished goods
  • ▪ Conducting regular quality control checks
  • ▪ Keeping on top of stock levels and delivery schedules
  • ▪ Inputting data using Excel (solid understanding of formulas required)
  • ▪ Monitoring order progress and reporting rejects or surplus stock
  • ▪ Helping maintain accurate records using both manual systems and Odoo
  • ▪ Ensuring company procedures and audit standards (BRC S&D, ISO9001, SMETA 2 pillar) are followed
  • ▪ Supporting the Operations Manager with planning and performance
