Class 2 / HGV Driver (SWISCo)

BIG ANT Group are looking for a Class 2 / HGV 2 Driver for SWISCo. This requirement is to facilitate the smooth operation of Waste & Recycling collections.

You will be responsible for driving the Romaquip Kerb-Sort vehicle; manoeuvring it safely and carefully through residential areas across Torbay. You will be working as part of a team to complete your daily rounds.

You will be responsible to ensure the team is participating with their duties as required and vehicle checks are carried out daily.

This role offers 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. The working day will start at 06:00 and you will be required until 14:45. You may be offered overtime, whereby an enhanced rate of x1.5 will apply to any hours worked over 8 hours a day. Typically, most workers will finish ahead of 14:45 but you will be honoured a full 8-hour day unless required duties are incomplete. Occasionally, Saturday hours are available but this will not be mandatory.

Applicants must hold a Cat C Licence / Class 2 and a full, current CPC. We are also looking for candidates who are immediately available.
