Factory Woodwork Operative (Industrial)

Big Ant Group are working with an established company in the Heathfield area and are seeking candidates to join the manufacturer immediately.

Are you looking for work Monday to Friday?
Do you enjoy manual roles and have experience of hand tools?

We are looking for support in a manufacturing team, working in a wood-workshop environment.

Duties will include:
- Cutting wood to size, measuring materials accurately
- Assembly work, using tools and fixings to create wood partitions
- Labelling storage locations correctly

Applicants must be able to work as part of a team, be adaptable to duties involved and have a good eye for detail. As part of this working environment, you will be required to wear certain PPE due to the environment of work. 

This role does involve repetitive duties and the successful candidate must be comfortable with this type of work.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:30.

This requirement is initially for 3 months and could be extended. There may be opportunity to progress into a permanent position for the right candidate.
This role would then materialise into working within the factory, using machinery, doing basic carpentry and upholstery.
