CNC Lead Operative (Industrial)

BIG ANT Group are working with a well-established, market-leading company in the Heathfield area of Newton Abbot.

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience within this type of position / operating CNC machines. Applicants must have experience in use of CNC Wood Routers, use of tools and problem solving.
This is a temp to perm opportunity, and will initially be via the agency for 12-weeks.

The essential duties of the role will be:
● Program and operate CNC machinery, monitoring progress and settings at all times
● Change CNC machine tooling
● Use precision measuring instruments, such as dial callipers
● Complete inspections and quality control
● Monitor work in progress and completed work, carrying out agreed tests and critical measurements to identify issues and make any required adjustments promptly.
● Maintain accurate records, data and documentation, ensuring policies and procedures are followed
● Support the smooth running of the team.
● Use resources responsibly and manage expenses

Working hours will be 07:30-16:30, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for someone who is immediately available / can start within 1 week.
