Packing Assistant (Industrial)

BIG ANT Group are currently recruiting for an established digital printing factory in Brunel Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot.

We are looking for candidates who are available from Monday 23rd June to join Harrier LLC in a Packing role.

These roles may involve:
- Physical duties; lifting or manoeuvring materials.
- Loading and unloading machines of materials.
- Packing.
- Basic machine programming; selecting functions on the machine screens.
- Using scanners and computer technology.

Training will be provided, although some of our roles will require some level of experience and understanding of machinery to progress. There will be performance and productivity targets to meet and your suitability for the role will be assessed by this. You will primarily be based at a station and on your feet.
This will involve attention to detail, quality checking and matching labels as well as some fiddly tasks. 

Working hours will vary depending on the role; although will primarily be working across 7 days a week on a Day Shift from 7am to 7pm (alternating each week working Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday to Wednesday to Friday) This is 48 hours one week, and 36 hours the next.
We may require Night Staff also, to work from Sunday to Thursday (10pm-6am).

Applicants must be above the age of 18 for insurance purposes.

There will be rate enhancements for weekend shifts and overtime depending on your rota.

This opportunity may offer work until Christmas time and some positions will be offered longer term.
