We are working with our Plympton based client who have an exciting business opportunity for an ambitious health and safety professional, looking to inspire people and businesses to work safely and sustainably.
They are a company that puts its team first and foremost. They provide QHSE and HR services to a wide range of organisations across a variety of industry sectors, including construction and allied services, manufacturing, retail, energy, agriculture, tourism, food and catering, education, events and facilities management.
Their head office is in Plymouth. Some travel through the South West and nationwide will be required, balanced with a degree of home / flexible working.
What does the role involve?
Undertaking training across a broad range of industry-accredited awarding bodies (e.g. IOSH, CITB) as well as SSG-certified courses, both face-to-face and virtually
Delivering consultancy services
Conducting gap analyses, documentation reviews, training needs analyses, workplace / site safety inspections
Identifying areas where improvements are required and recommending appropriate and proportionate remedial actions
Producing supporting documentation including policies, procedures, risk assessments, review / audit reports
Supporting the Service Delivery team in the continual development of state-of-the-art products and services, based on technological innovation
Who are we looking for?
A Chartered Safety and Health practitioner - CMIOSH (or working towards) - who enjoys being part of a successful team of supportive, like-minded people. The successful candidate will have:
