My client is a specialist in Paediatric care and is looking for an experienced Area Sales manager to cover their Southern area.
The successful candidate will be an excellent Area sales manager, who is used to working in a similar field
Job description:
· To develop and promote the company within a given territory.
· To be the focal point of the company in the territory.
· Successfully manage client/customer relationships through successful assessments of end users.
· Provide account management for the territory.
· To actively support and help promote new products.
· Develop and maintain prospect and customer list based on strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads.
· Conduct clinically focused product assessments with children, adults and therapists providing best advice on product suitability.
· To work in conjunction with the Northern Area Sales Manager picking up on potential new therapist/contacts for training assessment days to conduct and distributor opportunities.
Stores ongoing training days/stock review
· Actively increase presentation days with therapists.
· To support marketing activity through attending exhibitions and promoting awareness.
· To help increase staff morale through various reward programs and positive encouragement.
· Ensure that agreed processes and procedures are adhered to by all team members.
· To authorize leave and provide area support for holiday/sickness busy periods.
· To organise a one day raining day every six months for all members of the northern team.
· To conduct appraisals at an agreed frequency using the company standard format.
· To prepare and record agreed statistical data at an agreed frequency with management
· Inform senior management of any discrepancies or issues with sales team goals and results.
· To encourage positive communication between both the northern and southern regional sales team
Person Specification:
· Sales driven manager able to motivate and drive the southern region
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Listens carefully to customers and seeks to understand customer needs.
· Prioritise own tasks in order to complete them in a timely and accurate manner.
