We are currently recruiting for our well known, Plympton Hospitality Client. The role requires a dedicated and passionate individual who will join a talented team. This exciting role will involve organising and preparing events and banquets at our clients very popular venue, so previous experience in this field is an advantage. Key Responsibilities · Take responsibility for the Bar/Brasserie section, including service, presentation, menu creation, specials, standards and gross profit margins; · Take full responsibility and accountability for the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef and Sous Chef; · Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering banqueting prep and service; § Assist in accepting deliveries and ensuring the standard of produce is in line with the clients' standards; § Ensuring presentation of food is compliant with the clients' standards; § Ensure compliance with all Food Hygiene regulations; § To ensure that all areas are left as clean and tidy as is reasonably practical at all times; § Keeping up the standards of all food areas with regard to hygiene and cleanliness; § To carry out the prep needed, to the standards laid out and assist in the smooth running of the kitchen service; § To attend meetings and training courses as may be necessary from time to time; § To report and take necessary action for any incident of fire, accidents, theft, loss, damage, unfit food or any other irregularities; § To adhere to all statutory requirements regarding fire, health, safety and hygiene; § To participate in cross/multi skilled training within your department or other departments as deemed appropriate by your Manager; § To carry out any reasonable instruction as directed by your Manager.
