£22000 – £27000 per annum, plus Excellent Pension!
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Adviser for our Torbay based client. This is a well-respected local company, who have an excellent reputation and receive a lot of referrals through word of mouth. We are not looking for a pushy sales person, but rather someone who is very personable, has an excellent customer focused approach, and can multi task as the role requires. You will be based either on the Trade Counter, or within the Office. You will spend a lot of your day talking to the customers either over the phone, or face to face if they pop in. You will also coordinate deliveries and ensure that the customers are kept up to date with their orders, and that any delays are communicated. You will be dealing with people from all walks of life, so must be able to tailor your approach accordingly. Good IT skills are essential. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday mornings (Circa 44 hours per week on average).
Duties associated with the role include;
- Trade Counter Sales.
- Dealing with customer enquiries face to face and over the phone.
- Trade and retail orders.
- Co-ordinating deliveries.
- Providing the customers with product advise and recommendations.
- Following up on enquiries.
- Prioritising the work, to ensure customer satisfaction.
Previous industry experience is not essential, what is essential is an excellent work ethic, lots of common sense, and the ability to build a rapport with people easily.
