Part Time – Temp – 6 Months Initially, may be extended
£10.50 – £12.00
We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Purchasing / Office Assistant to support the Purchasing team of a leading engineering and manufacturing company in Torquay. This will initially be for a period of 6 months but may well be extended. We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in the purchasing environment. They would like someone who can commit to 3 days a week (24hours). Systems wise they use Syspro ERP Purchasing Software, so experience with this system would be brilliant, but is by no means essential. This role requires a candidate with excellent communication skills, and good IT Literacy. Previous purchasing environment experience is essential, and knowledge of ERP Systems is preferred.
Day to day the role will include;
- Purchasing a wide range of components, services and parts.
- Expedited orders for subcontracted services.
- Purchasing and admin duties.
- Order acknowledgement reports.
- Reorders & overdue order reports.
- Supplier liaison.
- Maintaining documents & Files.
- Supporting the Supply Chain function.
